E-mail: annescheiblegmailcom 		WOW, who would have thought that there are so many Scheibles around - especially in the States. I'm German, my father's name was Peter Hans Scheible (1936 - 2011) and his father was Karl Scheible (1893 - 1987). I don't know my grandfathers first name nor when he was born. Since my grandfather was an only child, I was hoping to maybe find out if my great grandfather had siblings, but without a name or birth date I'll never find out I guess.

Anyway Baden is the origin of my branch and I currently have one uncle (Dietrich Scheible born 1943) in Regensburg and one (Heinz born in 1931) in Heidelberg. Then there's a cousin in Berlin (Ulrich Scheible born 1965), one in Heidelberg (Eberhard Scheible born 1963) and Wolfgang Scheible (born 1948).

How come I've always been the only Scheible everywhere until now when there are so many out there? One of you even lives in Houston TX and I lived there in 1981-1982.

Great to see there are so many around and I'm pretty sure many of us are related if we go back 200 years :-)

Christian was born in Baden(German) and came to the US in 1850). I pretty much have all the family tree from Christian, including sons and daughters until present day. I am looking for more information, especially Christian's parents in Germany. If you have quesitons about the American Scheible that are in my line, I should be able to help, including some pictures.
